I am often challenged by well meaning Christians who suggest that doing "magic" is "evil"! When people find out that I'm demonstrating Mind Control, Astrology, ESP, Psychic Readings, etc., AND that I do that by candle light in a darkened room, they question my rationale.

Why not have a Bible study and simply forbid them from dabbling with the "Dark Side"?

It is one thing to tell a small child that fire will burn them. Some parents use this as a teachable moment to actually hold the child's hand in the flame -- for a split-second -- but just long enough to trigger a healthy respect for fire.

Most children really don't believe our words alone. They will still reach out and try to touch the flames. OUCH! Chances are they'll retract their hand in time to prevent serious injury. Unless their hair or clothing catches on fire. Then it becomes a major emergency.

The point is -- the things of the occult (literally meaning "that which is unseen") are a continuous attraction to people of all ages. Whether it's a curious review of the daily horoscope on the internet or actually visiting a psychic reader, people of all ages are drawn to these things. Even good Christian people!
